We have important updates regarding the schedule. As a result of the COVID-19 outbreak in China from November 2022 to February 2023, and subsequent factory closures and supply chain disruptions, we are now four months behind schedule. This delay affects deliveries to Australia/NZ and the USA, but it will not significantly impact the original schedule for Europe in the second half of the year. If anyone cannot wait for their delivery, please contact us directly for a refund.
For new purchase agreements dated from May 1st, please see following link. The only change is the updated dates.
Additionally, our company is transitioning to a more traditional distributor-retail sales model, with the first agreement being signed in Australia at present. This model will provide better customer service and support through our dealer networks. However, it will also mean that purchases will go through our distributor (to be announced shortly), resulting in a higher price (still reasonable) to account for their margins.
Therefore, if you are in the Australian market, we advise you to place your orders now, as the price for deliveries will increase in a couple of weeks.
The eSCRAMBLER comes with a massive 50kW IPM motor providing instant torque, impressive top speeds, as well as a propriety 13kWh LG 21700 li-ion battery pack. Real world range is over 150km and a charge time of only 4hrs to 90%. The bike requires little to no maintenance and is twist-and-go, making it the ultimate urban commuter.
The eSCRAMBLER is designed entirely in 3D by ex-Yamaha Japan Advanced Labs and former speedway champion, Michel Riis Eriksen, and engineered by SWITCH founder Matthew Waddick. The bike is produced entirely in factory to the highest level of quality and finish.
SWITCH has spent the last five years designing and refining our supply chain in order to bring the eSCRAMBLER to market at a reasonable price. Components are made in the same factories that provide for the world’s leading performance bikes, but through innovative supply chain design and minimising overheads, SWITCH has managed make this level of quality affordable.
The eSCRAMBLER has been designed for production from the outset. Some external ‘bolt on’ changes such as full fenders, mirrors and more will be included for the production in Q3 2023 at no extra cost. A number of custom items will be available for order as well.
